I hardly touch coffee at all for safety reasons
Huh

Boiling water??

Ah, youth! Caffeine, tinners. Caffeine. That inflatable tyre the doc ties around your arm and then pumps up?  Sad
Oh, I thought that was just about coke.

Anyway, Ron said safety, not health. Conjures up quite different meanings in my mind ...

It's not my safety I'm concerned for, btw, just that of anyone else who happens to be around....

Lie in
Cup of tea in bed
I really should get up very soon to do some work
Another ten minutes won't hurt

Good morning all.
(And a quick note to wish those with Caledonian connections a Happy St Andrew's Day.)

Thank you Ron. However, i feel I should point out that for participants in, and observers of, the Eton Wall game, this year St. Andrew's day fell a couple of Saturdays ago. Wink

Must be a large cup!  Cheesy

Good morning everybody!

Nice to see the weather has cheered up since yesterday, when my new umbrella suffered life-threatening damage, there were breakers on the lake in Burgess Park (surrounding a horizontally-blowing fountain which brought back damp memories of my years at York University), and I nearly got blown away on my way home from the supermarket in spite of having been holding onto my pull-along trolley which was laden down with the first instalment of my Christmas booze supply.

Only four operas this week! Grin Grin - Albert Herring, L'elisir d'amore, Billy Budd and Macbeth.

oooh!

Morning all.  Weather's nice.  But, weather don't make the day.

Hopefully I'll be feeling a bit more chipper by this evening.  (going to a good restaurant for someone's birthday; had been planning to go for the past six months, and finally got around to booking it about a month-and-a-half ago).

So are you six months late for the last birthday, or six early for the next?
