Damn, I was going to be the first on here but Mort's beaten me to it while I was making a cuppa tea. I was just so excited to see what Santa had left me I couldn't sleep - but there's no nice new laptop like I'd asked for. Now what's the number of his customer complaints department in Bombay?

Radio 4 rather than Radio 3 for me today: there are highlights of the News Quiz on now and Humph in Wonderland is on at noon.

Here's Santa relaxing after a tiring and busy night:

Radio 3 at the mo. RC just gave us a rather nice blast of Praetorius, which has reminded me that I haven`t yet got around to ordering Terpsichore. In fact there`s a few things I want from the River people. Hmmm, I`m not doing anything at the moment, my stocking is empty and it is Christmas .....

Clatters off to find shopping list.

Christmas morning started off really early in Millyland!  It's been going on for at least 4 hours.... Cheesy  Lots of lovely presents received and I'm as thrilled with all of mine as he is with his.

While he is being taken to visit the other side of his family this morning, I'm going to take Dudley for a lovely long walk.  Then it's lunch out for us all.

It seems mild this morning, damp - not too cold.  Not very Christmassy weather.

I'm on R3 as usual.  Rob's choices have been good this morning.

Hope everyone out there is well and happy and that Santa has been very generous.   Smiley

Back to Radio 3 now. There seems to be lots of religion on Radio 4 at the moment for some reason. Cheesy

Hi tonybob,
Happy Christmas from me. I have not seen you here for a while. I am listening to Mahler 10 these few days, thought it is not festive for the occasion.

Terpsichore is another of my favourite Christmas diversions, though my favourite version of it (New London Consort) was rendered unplayable beyond halfway years ago after an industrial accident in a CD player tray: scuffed to beggary, basically. However, one of my gifts this year was one of those CD repair kits, and having dug out the disc with a mixture of trepidation, nostalgia and scepticism I sprayed it with the fluid, put it in the gadget and followed the instructions. I'm amazed and happy to say that it sailed through all tracks without audible error, so that's one title I can strike off the re-buy list....
