That's four guesses, strina, and you stand to be docked 300 points!

Oh-oh. I stand to get docked 75 for this...  Cry

Nah, I just remembered his concertos were all (I think) accompanied by strings only.

Wieniawski?  Number one (although it's in F-sharp minor ...) ?

Spohr? (hmm, probably not)

Viotti?

Bériot?

Surely only -80, mart?! (All incorrect, however, strina. No Wieniawski, Spohr, Viotti or Bériot Cry)

#27 Beethoven Melodram for speaker and glasharmonika

I am aware that that's wrong now, but I can't hear the language being spoken. Still, think of this guess as an attempt to make a little-known piece available to the general public.

21 not Schaathun -- What you hear is a complete piece, and I already gave away the title on this very thread!

I plan to give all you abyss-seekers and bottom-dwellers (in terms of points, mind) a run for your money.  Especially considering I have no idea how to upload a snatch  Roll Eyes, which seems the best way of gaining points.

Besides, my point-docking could have been worse.  Bériot wrote 10 violin concertos - Viotti wrote 29 - Spohr wrote 15 numbered ones plus another 3.  I could have guessed them all one by one.

So to continue with guesses for No.25:

how about Pugnani?

Leclair? (I doubt it.)

Tartini?

Ernst?

Not Tapiola, George - if you listen carefully there's a voice in Puzzle 27, and Tapiola has none!

Whoops! I meant Puzzle 28. But that's obviously not Tapiola either.  Sad

Dock me what you will, Mr Grew. I'll take it like the bottom-feeding snorkelling abbess I know myself to be.

A quadruple 'no' to those guesses, I'm afraid.

Now I know how to pload and can actually get some points, I don't feel so bad about making wild guesses.  So is 25 one of the Schubert Rondos I don't know?  In G?

Not a Schubert Rondo in any key, Tommo!
