It is such a beautiful picture. It is dull here. I have one more student to get through. He has Associated board exam coming before Christmas. And he also has a brother younger brother for exam too. Why do I teach the whole family? They are nice boys (with stiff thumgs and stiff arms and can not read notes properly in grade four.)
I rather be on the boat, but I am looking forward to 45 minuts of torture.

It's summer here. Most confusing. Hot and sunny - and I mean hot. People have come in droves for the day, as I found out just now when I was trying to get to Sainsburys and park. Good for local business of course. There was a charity fun run this morning which started from behind my house. We didn't know it was on so when I looked out and saw ambulances, fire engines and loads of people, it gave me a bit of a turn for a moment. Then I saw them all starting off. Health and Safety you see. They'd certainly covered for every possible eventuality this morning. There were two paramedics following them on bikes!

Thick mist here (but we get that because of the rivers and being at the bottom of the valley), it has burnt off to a certain extent but the hills are still hazy but it is hot in the sun. I have posted this before I think, but this is when it gets really bad and we are marooned in mist for days on end. I am below the mist, poking a burnt stick into a sullen fire whilst declaiming Dylan Thomas and The Mabinogion and plucking me harp!

And poor Johannes up there on the roof, swathed in mist, peering in vain across the fields trying to locate the goats. I can see it all quite clearly in my mind's eye.

It was a beautiful golden Autumn morning here that then became a really very warm, sunny day with a gorgeous deep blue sky. Reminded me rather of Greece at Easter. No goats though, Milly

[...] and plucking me harp! That's a lovely picture, Antheil. Would that be a Celtic harp you have there? They make a lovely renaissance kind of sound, don't you think?

Milly, I sent Johannes to take this one at the top of the mountain (well, we do exaggerate, more of a big hill to be honest!) with his new digidol camra and here I am, smothered in mist! Martin, no I do not have a harp, although I would like to

It is absolutely lovely here, and warmer than many days in summer.
Just as well, as we went to the Globe this afternoon. (See Opera House board in a few mins.)

Still sunny here but the sun is quite low. I've just put some more washing out - it should maybe get an hour or so. Morose? The Welsh? Never!
