Perhaps the weather should be nationalised...

Got woken up in the night by the gales, this morning was blowy and spitty rain, it cleared slightly lunchtime then really set in with torrential wet Welsh rain (which everyone knows is wetter than English rain)  Smiley  It's so dark you can't see without the lights on and still tipping it down.  AND the clocks go back this Sunday!!

It's been blowing a gale here all day as well.  We're buried in sand as usual.  I forgot to put my car away and it's absolutely covered.  I've been so busy all day it didn't cross my mind at all. <doh> Roll Eyes

The heating is on as well.  I decided to wait and not cap the monthly payments.  It might come down in price so pointless capping it at the top rate.

I can't believe it!  There is still a howling gale here.  It's persevered all night and certainly hasn't abated in the least this morning.   Driving intermittent rain as well.  Winter has arrived early.

Nothing but blue skies do I see.

I went to bed early last night with the radio in an attempt to drive out the noise of the incessant torrential rain.  It must have got very cold in the early hours as the puddles are ice. However the day has dawned calm with blue skies, a few fluffy white clouds and no wind.  Very cold at the moment though.  Trees are starting to look nice as they turn.

Not here!  Hardly any leaves left.  There's going to be much sweeping going on around here when this wind drops.  Roll Eyes

I had a rather vivid picture of a magic roundabout style garden with trees slowly rotating...

What an awful day yesterday!! Wild, wet and windy!! Yuk! Today, seems a complete opposite. Sun is out, a bit overcast still but everything looks better whern that yellow circular thing is out there in the sky!

Clear blue sky here today, somewhat windy but looks quite pleasant.  Will head off to the library soon for some research!

Yesterday's weather report.

If you looked out the window it was fine.
If you thought about going out, it turned overcast.
If you put on your coat and ventured to the front door, it rained.
If you thought "I'll be OK, I've got a good waterproof jacket", it rained harder.
If you ventured down the road, it rained torrentially.
If you went back inside, it stopped.
If you thought about going out later, the cycle repeated itself.

If you abandoned all hope of getting those parcels to the post office that day, it brightened up.

It's sunny now and the wind has abated slightly but still gusty.  I just took my car to have it jet washed.  It's back in the garage now looking clean and shiny once more.
