If only coolth were transmissable via cyberspace, I'd export you both a portion. A breeze that's not quite cold wafts though the study window, and we're sitting at about 16/61 right now. Nae muggy nicht in Westhaven the nicht!

Tomorrow is set to be 29 in Lunnon. Wilt. Droop.

Hmm.  London is horrible at this time of year.  It's always a nice feeling to get off the train at the end of the day and feel a bit of sea breeze, knowing that one has left the smoke firmly behind.

Sorely tempted to work from home tomorrow (but see Happy Room for reasons why this is not necessarily a good idea)

Absolutely pouring here in Yorkshire, torrential, monsoon type stuff in Leeds and drizzly in York.  It's also really muggy and horrible.  Where is our summer?  i demand a refund!  Grin

As I am driving from Manchester to London tomorrow it will surely rain heavily all the way !

I believe it has been very hot and muggy in London , but it has been a bit 'clammy' but cooler and a sprinkle of rain now and then up here.

Distant thunder, lightning and rain. Hope it doesn't knock my net connection out; I've got Tristan on the boil at the moment. pardon?

Thunder, lightning and rain here on the South Coast at the moment, at the end of a really hot and sticky day.

Marty x sheep shanks and mint sauce.

I think the last time Wales had a Summer Owain Glendwr was in charge  Cheesy

You don't come to Wales for the weather Mun, you come for the scenery, the ambience, the continuous quoting of Dylan, the verdant grass, the bleating and coughing of sheep in the sloe black, coal black night, the excitement of possibly meeting Gossamer Beynon, and a pint of Rev. James and Charlotte Church.  Plus S4C tv with subtitles and endless programmes about the Royal Welsh Show, Max Boyce and Religion.  Cheesy

Anty x 3 bikes outside the pub and a sheepshank redemption

I think I may be sick. I got into enough trouble months ago suggesting Richard try a pint of Brains, look you.  Cheesy

I would welcome some rain if it resulted in the muggyness departing. Yesterday was an absolute stinker in London. Horrible, even in the distant hills of Highgate. And as for trying to sleep at night -  duvet off, duvet on, duvet off ....... Sigh. Yawn.

Warm, pleasant sunshine here in the far, far north-west. Almost hot. No rain for days.

I thought you should all know that.  Cheesy
