Much as I'd like to spend the rest of the day restfully waffling, I now have to quit my browser and write an article and NOT ALLOW myself to go back online until it's finished.

Goodbye, cruel world...

I'm in Birmingham now.
My girlfriend is reading a book called 'Carnal Knowledge' in preparation for a project on 'Body theology' and I'm considering the minute or so of music that I wrote on the train.
The sun is shining, the birds are singing.
I should be in the Happy Room!

I know one composer who writes on the train.
I remember this time in my life when we used to meet like this. I had to practise and he had to write Ph.D. The best time of our life I think.

Phew. "Das war ein Stück Arbeit", as someone says in an opera somewhere. 1200 words spouted and sent. Sent, I should say, to their subject initially (the Dutch composer Kees Tazelaar) rather than to the publisher, just to make sure I haven't said anything too stupid or mistaken. I know that's very bad journalistic practice but of course I'm just an amateur.

I read that initial post as Camel Knowledge and was a tad bemused, not to mention concerned. I really must  get to the opticians!

Ho Morticiaa.  Good to see you on this thread.  I'm puzzled though.  Could this be the leader of the L. Marsupial pack?  Do you have any knowledge of this?
Cheers
