Ho "A".  I'd really be interested to learn when it was that you sneaked up here and photgraphed my Bins.  You did a good job and they do look very smart.  Had I known, you would have been invited in for Waffles and Marmite.
Cheers

Ho S'Wave,

Yes, I did creep up there to see you - and I have to say your bins are beautiful. I also think your lawns are as good as you said last year... perhaps ready for a bit of a trim now on a sunny day... what do you think?  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Next time I will be brave and knock for tea and marmite waffles  Undecided

Hope you are well. Thanks so much for the duckweed , my little friends are as happy as the day is long... especially now they have come out from behind the fridge, they are much happier behind the sofa as usual

Ho!  Can anybody tell me why the Smileys are no longer available over in" the other place"?  It seems a little odd for the BBC to remove them.  There's not much going on over "yon" at all.

Ho!  Yet, strangely, instructions on how to use the Smileys are still there.  Hmm!

Ho "A".  Love the new avatar.  Very cute.  The other place seems to be in a fair mess.  I'm glad I got our casts out of there last night.  Should you require any more duckweed let me know and I'll arrange a weekly delivery to Euston.  It's been a pretty poor day up here, grey and wet again with improvement late afternoon.  I'm currently listening to Scriabin's 2nd Symphony.  The last movement is simple but very "jolly" with "a big chune".  Do you know it?  How's the violin?  Are you slacking now that you're down in the soft south?  Remember your roots.

Ho S'Wave

Been  a bit Mancunian weather here today... drizzle!!

I don't know Scriabin no 2 , sounds interesting , I will look out for it .. thanks!

My violin playing has changed rather, I am not now in an orchestra or chamber group but I have bought a Baroque bow and I play Bach ( etc) a lot with a very good pianist whose name you may well know  Wink
So, I play a fair amount but not in the same way. I am still looking for an orchestra that is near enough to where I am now that could mean that  I get back before  11.30 pm !! there must be one nearer than the one I tried!

Glad you like my ducks !

HO S`wave!

Guess there`s not a lot to `smile` about Over There Sad But also, call me cynical if you will, but it is possible to be subversive with the little tinkers, non? Imagaine the chaos that could result with an endless stream of
Much better to `mod` the Smileys. Ye Gods!

You can understand why they never included in the range, can`t you!  Grin Grin Grin

Ho Morticiaa.  Yes, it is both sad and silly over there at the moment.  The fact that somebody else was posting and doing things using Sylvie's name has caused a lot of anger.  I feel sorry for her as I'm sure she's under strict orders to conform to the new Beeb ideas.  It may sort itself out but I'm becoming rather fed up with the whole atmosphere - not conducive to reasonable people "like wot we is."  I don't think that the "powers that be" are aware of the quality of some of the "Members" - composers, performers, writers, artists and academics and intelligentsia that inhabit the Boards.  Ignorance is not helping the present state of Radio 3.
