Thank you. Is there a picture of a great painter called spring? I think it is called like Primovera or something. I can not learn how to put pictures here. Help I am surrounded by geniuses. If in doubt play piano.

Unfortunately Charlotte dies at the end but the children I took to see it were very good at comforting me and reassured me all the way home that "it was only a film - not real". Aw, that's lovely. Good for them! Children are wonderful. I arrived all late and hot and bothered for Evensong this evening (lured, ahem, by the sensual pleasures of Byrd and Tallis in an agnostic sort of way) and got the most wonderful welcoming smile from a girl of about 9 or 10 I suppose. She's absolutely no idea how much it made my day.

It is so easy to make each other happy. Did you read Breakfast MB in the other realm? Rob answered them. I love radio 3, they are doing good programmes, but many people are unhappy. George Garnett, this fairy is for you:

She's absolutely no idea how much it made my day. Your Evensong sounds excellent. What time was that then? Ours here is always a 6.30 p.m., start. Children are wonderful. Speaking personally, my life now would be very bleak indeed without them. Speaking of which, I'd better see to tea. Junk food tonight - sausage and chips followed by ice cream. I know, I know.......but they've been really really good and we've had a great time. Then hometime for the others and the two of us are going to settle down for the evening. Glad you enjoyed the Byrd and Tallis.

Ah yes, I remember children, they are lovely ... poached, fried or even scrambled on toast! ( Sorry, retired teacher speaking here.. enjoying adult company again!) I am not sure 'they know everything' t-p... they just think they do! A

I simply wish people would post on the Waffle thread on Rob's Breakfast board, he has said he doesn't mind us posting there and it is one way of showing we won't be cowered into defeat by BBC suits.
Dan has restarted the Musical Connections over there too (in the Music Matters section) and I've posted a link to it in this board's current puzzle.

Well, goodness t-p, that's very kind of you. I shall try and look after it well. I've only ever had a gerbil before. Evensong at 4.00 on Saturdays here, Milly, with no sermon . Some of the boys had their 'You do realise you're making me miss the rugby' faces on this afternoon. On Sunday it's 6.30 for us too.

By the way, how are the culinary efforts going George? After my popular recommendation of very large Greek beans, do you fancy having a go at tonight's effort? I've just done a home-made veggie dopiaza with brown Basmati rice. It only took an hour and it was both nutritious and delicious, if I say so myself. Nice for one, or a romantic candlelit supper for two after Evensong......

I am sure George will be interested. I am interested in new recepy Milly. I will print it and try it may be tomorrow.
A, I know what you mean. I have rascals sometimes. The other day one of them did something with my mobil phone while I talked to granddad. It took me 20 min to get the phone working again. And sometimes he hides and we have to find him. One of the kind of kids that will take a leg of your chair and watch you fall. I have to say I understand it must be funny. Fortunately he is here for 30 min (and long 30 mins they are)
