I've been known to go to Evensong for similar reasons, George. I've just lent my score of Rejoice in the Lamb to a friend who's doing it at some choral summer school. I didn't like parting with it.

My favourite bit of the Dudley Moore sketch is the moment's thoughtful pause before the fourth "Away" Grin

Yes, comic timing combined with musical genius! Wonderful!  Cheesy

What a thoroughly pleasant evening - just sitting about, listening to the Prom and talking.  I spent 3 hours earlier on playing the piano and the last really large pieces of fallen down tree have now gone away to the tip, the sun shone this afternoon so I sat in the garden for a while after doing that.  I also managed to sort something out on my laptop that I've been meaning to do for ages and find a DVD I really want very reasonably priced!

Just spent some happy minutes doing bunny jigsaws here:
http://www.mnhouserabbit.org/fun/jigsaws.html

I'm terribly slow - Bella and Dhia took me 12 mins 38 seconds, Woody took 6:44. My little R took 6:19 to do Rascal and Scamp.*
Woody

*She's just taken 5:18 to do Bella and Dhia!

That is excellent news, both of you. And as Morticiaa said, who, in their right mind, would go back to an age without antibiotics?

Wahey!! Yessss!!!! Just done Bella and Dhia in 8.03. I wasn't expecting to be in the little R league but I'm pretty pleased with that in the Veteran Category. There's hope for me yet, despite having lost however many thousand brain cells it is per day for several decades.

I've a feeling there's a long exciting night ahead with Bunny Jigsaws.

Right! Rascal and Scamp*, you have been warned. Here I come.

[* Hmmm. A distinctly mediocre 7.49.]

Well done George. Belle and Dhia took me 10:54.

I took 5:47 for Woody but when I tried him in the form of a map of the USA my time went out to 13:57 - it's much harder.

The other jigsaws are good too, George. But I've just taken a woeful 15:03 to do The Scream! In my defence the computer was delaying moving the pieces by a few seconds at times!

I'm more than content with bunnies for now, MabelJane Grin.

Hmmm. 6.49 for Woody. Little R is leaving me further behind than I would like.

I'm a bit worried about the look of Grits. When bunnies look like that aren't they sometimes, um,....

Today's is a baby croc and a bit harder as it's 80 pieces - took me 14:55  Sad

I love these jigsaws so very much. I did two of them last night, although I don't have time. And each took me 40 minuts, but I loved it.
I lost too many brain cells now and everything takes too long, but with practice I hope to improve.
Thank you for posting them. They distract me greatly from disagreeable things like: the room is painted, but I am still waiting for them to take my old furniture away and can not have new one in. Everything takes longer, than I think.
