These jigsaws are great.

The last time I did a jigsaw several months ago , I put all the pieces on the table and my cat jumped up, skidded and placed almost all of them on the floor. This is much easier!!!

I know that TV phone-in competitions are only a means of making money for the TV companies but it's difficult to beat this:

on ITV4's coverage of the Tour de France today, at the end of the programme they looked at the overall positions of the British riders including Geraint Thomas at 160th, stated by the commentator to be "the youngest rider in the race".

Next up, the phone-in competition: Who's the youngest rider in the race?

Btw Michael Rasmussen is in yellow

Cheesy  And cats love to walk across a Scrabble board too don't they! When Eddie (my avatar) was a kitten a year ago, my 12 year old was making a lot of those foam-backed 3D jigsaw puzzles. Eddie would grab a piece in his mouth and run off with it! We found bits all over the house.

I went to Imran's in the Birmingham Balti belt on Saturday and, while I can't compare it with your favourite tonybob, it is consistently good. We had excellent service as well which is good considering that it is now a very large restaurant and it was pretty full.

It's a glorious, hot, sunny day here for once after all the rain.  Yesterday was ok but today is fabulous!!!  The beach is crowded and we're all wearing summer clothes at last.              Whooppeeeeeeeeeeeeeee  Grin

Wonderful news Jan!  So pleased for you.  It must be dreadful to lose a pet.  It hasn't happened to me because dogs are much more clingy but I'm so glad Slippers has come home.  Cheesy

Not only has today been fantastic, but the forecast here for tomorrow is as good!   Think I'll be out in my cossy sunbathing tomorrow Grin  (Had no time today!)

Thanks Milly,
Yes, it's good to know she's OK. I think she's been living rough in the fields.

Get out there in that sunshine and flaunt your stuff !!

Glad about Slippers, Jan. Cats are strange - they do that sometimes, just to keep you on your toes.

Why's s/he called Slippers? Is it like being called Mittens?

Very glad to hear this Jan.  Smiley Didn't realise your little Slippers had been missing. It's horrible waiting for AWOL cats to return. 5 days of worrying was bad enough the last time one of ours disappeared.

I'd been unaware of the missing cat, too, JtF, and am delighted to hear of the prodigal's return...

I am delighted that your cat is back too. Now you can put duster on him and he can dust the house.

Although may be it is not kind to the animal. I just found this on the net and posting it here.
