And I am moderately happy (modified rapture - operatic reference that my chums Tony, Ruth and reiner will recogize at once) because on my profile at present my average daily postings now appear as 3.  Nothing to some of you, of course, but I am quietly pleased.
Er, 3.002 actually Don B! Wink

Have a great time martle.

It's my elder son's birthday today.  Cheesy  We've finished wrapping our presents and writing the cards and we're going round there in about half an hour to drop them off.  We're having our family celebration on Monday - all going for a family meal to a beautiful place in the country by the river.  He was born at 10 p.m., weighing 8lbs 4oz.  Easy, problem-free birth.  I wish I could go back and do it all over again.  Time flies.

This is a bit gushy and me-me-me, but I'm Happy because I have a crazy week of work coming up, involving performing in four concerts in four days, plus rehearsals, plus teaching. But it's GOOD crazy!

Go, Mr Green! Cool  Good luck and bon voyage!

Sorry to hear about lost job, BBM. Good luck finding new one. Glad to see you in Happy Room having a good long weekend with Mrs BBM.

Well done Jonathan. Hope you enjoy your new job but still find plenty of time for shells, Liszt and r3ok.

And on the subject of jobs, I've offered to go full-time in September so I'll have less free time (to waste in here!) but more £ and probably more job satisfaction as I'll be in charge of my class every day. (Though I'll also have considerably more stress Shocked but that belongs on another thread...) BTW, for those who are aware of my current job-share arrangement, I was not put under any pressure by the school to opt for full-time. Smiley

Delighted to hear it Jonathan. I was quite sure someone sensible would soon realise that your skills and talents were just what they needed.

Thanks for keeping us updated, Jonathan. That alone makes me worthy of visiting the happy room (i.e., happy!)!

Good to hear, Jonathan.

Today I have one foot in the Happy Room and the other in the Inland Bl%dy Revenue Room.

I've reached a point in one of my ongoing compositional projects where I can stop and take a breath, with about 20 of its 30 minutes on paper, 59 pages looking more or less OK, not completely useless anyway, well actually I'm quite pleased with it I think, and divert my attention to some more urgent things. Unfortunately the most urgent of those more urgent things is getting everything ready for the accountant, which to me is an activity of an unpleasantness akin to having my teeth pulled out by the jaws of giant spiders.
