I'm happy because I seem to be back online after numerous problems. I hate computers except when they work Smiley

It's been a few days since you were with us Mary, but I'm glad that it was your computer rather than you causing this (though of course better still had you never been away).

Seconded Thirded, almost word for word. Ron has just said what I was about to say. Good to have you back, Mary, and with the correct Britten rose in place as well.

And fourthed.  Thank goodness the rose is in place.  I have been off and away (maybe more will be revealed later) and had not noticed the comparative absence of one of our defining members.

Welcome back, Mary.

Any advice to tinners on how to cope with non-internet connection?  And hot water while you're about it.

Thank you very much for your kind welcome Smiley. It was only for a few days, but felt like years. I depend too much on this thing - I was quite horrified at the prospect of not being able to place an Ocado order. I know only one person who doesn't own a computer, and she thinks I'm quite mad.

I'm very happy that Mary's back: I had been wondering where she was.

I'm slightly less (well, to be honest considerably less) happy about something else, but I don't know if I have the energy to post about it. I may do so later.

Do keep us in the loop, time_to_be_apathetic_is_not_now.

Happy to report that my guest-edited issue of a not very old periodical is finally going into production.

That's good news, TF. I hope I'll be able to get hold of a copy of that when it's out.
