No diagnosis was made, just ruling them out. But still: yick.
Definitely won't be eating anything except out of a can when I go back to Egypt this year.
Stay clear of those cans of worms though. |

It is good for the throat to be warmed up with milk (hot milk) and honey. Tea with lemon and honey is very good, but not everybody can take it.
One can put woolen scarf over the throat.

I had mumps when I was small and it was terrible. To have mumps as an adult is awfully difficult.
It is difficult to get attention from a physician now.
I wish they diagnose tonybob correctly.

It probably isn't mumps. I don't think mumps affects the ears. It was just the swelling that made me think of it, but that can be caused by ear infections, too.

I think I have a cold. I stopped drinking cows milk ages ago and since then I have been distinctly less sniffy the rest of the time which perhaps explains my lack of other symptoms. I just feel a bit urghhhhhh really!

That's just about everybody then Jonathan. I'm getting over mine but it's taken a good whole week. It must be the weather I suppose. It's rained all day here yet again and was torrential in the night.
