I think it's far more likely to be connected with all that queueing in bad weather yesterday, eru, than what your sister had. If you do see a doctor, I would mention that. Take care of yourself tonight and see how you feel in the morning. Get well soon!

I met eru in the Prom queue yesterday and he reported that he was fine (and hadn't needed to see a Doc).
Sorry I forgot to tell you yesterday when posting.
Have a feeling he's in a prom queue right now with Ruth and David and co....

As Tommo reports - although whatever it is is certainly still there, but it is a lot better than it was on Thursday. Tommo, how did you guess where Wally was?!!

Message for Milly
I had to go through pages to find this thread.
I'm not ill, but...
I want to know how Milly is!
I hope you're feeling a bit better.

Hello Mary, here I am. Apart from feeling very sorry for myself, I'm very much better thank you although not quite 100% yet. It was a particularly ferocious and virulent 'flu bug to which I seemed to have no immunity whatsoever. I did wonder at one point whether I was the first person in the country to contract bird 'flu! No-one else has caught it in my household thank goodness and none of my friends either. It was destined to be just for me!
I've been up and about for a couple of days now. My son has been doing the school run for me all week and a friend has taken care of the after-school activities so I've been able to just lie down and let the thing run its course. I took him to football this morning and he's going to a birthday party at 2.30.
Apart from being a bit tired I think I'm well on the way back to normal. I'm not going back to the gym until after our holiday which will be the last two weeks on October. I'm just going to rest up and eat sensibly till then.
It's a lovely sunny day here so things are looking up generally. I have been looking on here occasionally this last week but haven't done much posting because I just haven't felt up to doing very much at all.
Thank you so much for enquiring about my welfare.

Well, Mills, perhaps you should make yourself cosy and watch a couple of Proms on DVD .

Indeed Ron, Monday's the day. I know I've been saying that for a long while but I really mean it this time. I've been playing the cd in the car incidentally.
