Had a call from our daughter, sitting on a train in a Birmingam suburb, between stations because some vandals put an obstruction on the track. Train needs repair.

That was two hours ago.


Oh, and kids are throwing stones at the train.  Angry

MJ,

My daughter got home just as I was posting. The yobs had put a shopping trolley on the track. It wasn't a fast train so damage was minimal, just took engineers a while to get to the train.

This was on the main West Coast line. I wonder, what is the point of developing trains that do 200mph when we can't protect the tracks from homicidal yobs?

We can't even protect the tracks from the day to day wear and tear caused by the trains let alone from bored teenagers looking for excitement.

Could be as simple as collecting active addresses for spam.
