- I've got to think of something exciting to do with 2 peppers, half a cucumber and some carrots Sounds like we're back on the 1980s farce trail there, Andy.

Tonight I'm griddling some peppers (which I seem to do an awful lot... maybe I like them?) and reheating some risotto. Simple but yummy (at least I hope so). I'm optimistic that I'll be able to get to see this tonight, though I haven't phoned ahead to see if they've got tickets... Living dangerously... I should stay in and work anyway but it's been a frustrating day.

Stuff the peppers with rice or bulghar or cous cous, carrots, pine nuts (Andy you seem to have a constant supply of pine nuts!), plus some spices of your choice, chilli, garlic, onion, some chopped tomatoes from your greenhouse, mix in some coriander (ditto from greenhouse) top with cheese, (pref. goat's) and a good grinding of black pepper, cook and serve until bubbling with cucumber raita. Tomorrow eat the other pepper cold with balsamic dressing on mixed fragrant leaves, chopped spring onion and some cherry tomatoes. Sorted.

Martle plus £5.30 x Severn Bridge Tolls just to enter the Wonderful Land of the Mabinogion (which is well worth it, we don't charge you for leaving for we know you will never leave whilst there is chorus of Cwm Rhondda or Myfanwy in your lungs and you still have a passion for Laver Bread wrapped in oatmeal and fried in bacon fat, Sushi has nothing on the Welsh, we invented seaweed as a delicacy look you) Turfan, yes, when the goats cheese is bubbling.

Turfan, until bubbling and when bubbling, are, to be honest, to the Welsh, amazingly similar phrases. Funny that. It's a Celtic thing I guess. In a time-line culinary situation however. Both mean the same. It bubbles, it is ready to be served. Sorry if we are confusing our neighbours over the pond.

Don't be! We are easily confused, speaking only for ourselves of course. Your clarification is very interesting to me. Welsh is then a bit like certain languages of rainforest peoples.

Turfs, the Welsh can bubble or even almost bubble better than most. Indeed as with most things, incuding Dylan Thomas, Rugby and Laver Bread wrapped in seaweed, the Welsh are not to be beaten on bubbling

Indeed Turfan, the Rain Forests of Wales, mainly to be found around Abertawe, Newcastle Emlyn, and TeePee Valley. According to George Borrow the Welsh are Sanskrit Gypsies. Did you know the name for Groom in Sanskrit is Sayce as it is in in Welsh? There is of course the Patagonia connection whereby the Welsh colonised South America extensively and built their Welsh Chapels. The climate in Wales is wet, but no tornados have ever been recorded.
