You're obviously back to being your old hot-stuff self, Mills, if you can rice to the occasion and curry favour with your guests. Wink

Nothing like adding a bit of spice to your life Ron!  Wink  Kiss

I KNEW I'd forgotten something.   Off to buy a cucumber!

Somehow those two statements together remind me irresistibly of the curtain-line in a 1980s farce....

I remember it well: Run for your Vegetable. Or was it No Sex Please, We're Tomatoes?

Not What the Butler Saw, surely?! (Or, in Tommo's case, See How They Pun!)

Wasn't that the controversial Swede-ish production.?

I'll get me trowel.

Right.  All done except for the cucumber raita.  Three different curries that will just need to be heated up later whilst I do the rice and heat up the pakoras.  Salad done.  Summer fruit trifle for dessert or ice cream if they prefer - or both if they like.  Grin  I've bought ready-made poppadums but otherwise everything is done from scratch.

Time for a drink!  Cheesy

No curry for me today, had potato and spinach yesterday with a very small portion of rice. I made it on Saturday and split into 4 portions, 2 of which I froze. It's "use up the veg that's left in the fridge day" today - I've got to think of something exciting to do with 2 peppers, half a cucumber and some carrots Cheesy

I can't possibly compete with the Milly Feast tonight, so the offering here tonight will be a couple of belly pork slices that have been sitting around this afternoon in some Teriyaki, dark soy, a sprinkle of Five Spice, a crumbled red chilli and a glug of oil. To be baked in the oven and served with Jasmin rice. Should be pretty NOMMY.
