Well, I was mighty impressed by the match between SA and Oz.  Sadly Englerlund have no chance, and Ollie will be gloating.   Cry Angry

Some of us may be biding our time until after the result of Sri Lanka v. SA. (?)

Got a bit pissed off with Aggers this morning in the Guardian saying that "minnows" shouldn't play in the World Cup. It doesn't seem that long ago that both Sri Lanka and New Zealand were so considered.

Yeah, I saw that. Looks more like he was drafted in just as someone to write the counter point of view; I can't imagine his heart's really in it.

Slightly off-topic, but this is probably the best place for it - I'm geekily excited about having just discovered this Firefox extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4699 "A Cricket Score watcher that displays the score in the status bar panel based on RSS feeds from popular cricket sites."

Very handy for days (like today) when I'm supposed to be 'working'.  Cool

I think this gets its info from cricinfo, it's a bit like the in-vision thingy you can get on Teletext, but super discrete.

And it looks like Sri Lanka are getting tonked.....

I'd net on a South Africa v Oz final.  But how many runs in total do you reckon?

Tonked ? I had to look that one up and I discover that it's a bona fide cricketing term. And there's me thinking you were being indecent !

That's what comes of spending too much time studying Australian terminology . . .
