Oh MJ, you are so kind.
Actually, it's another Thompson1780 from the web somewhere. Mine is a little tattier, but lovely - like a dog you have had in the family for as long as you can remember, and it's gone a bit shaggy. (Mind you, my fiddle doesn't wee on the carpet....)
One day I'll work out digital photos and get a shot of my fid as my avatar.

Bryn is on 999.
I am quite close. Who will get to be the 10th person to 1000 posts? I was going to be gentlemanly, but Bryn doesn't seem to be on line.......

When I was a child I'd suck the chocolate off a chocolate Brazil nut and use it to polish my fiddle. Do you?

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Erm, I had a lovely Chateaubriand in Saas Fee earlier this year. That ranked somewhere in my 'best meals' category. Will that do?
And MJ, er.... No.
Actually, I'm feeling really guilty. Perhaps Bryn was being a gent and staying on 999 because he realised I'm a closet Alpha-Male (even though I continually profess to be an Omega-Male). Or maybe he just had an emergency?
Maybe I'll just log off now.......

Tommo, don't worry. By extensive research I can attest that Bryn is fighting back the barbarians on the Islamophobe thread over at TOP. He won't mind... go on...

When I was a child I'd suck the chocolate off a chocolate Brazil nut and use it to polish my fiddle. Do you? MJ. Well. Um, you might have to explain that a bit. Um,... Or as Ian might say, unpack it a bit. Is there an interim stage to that process, i.e. between the sucking off of the chocolate and the polishing; or is the whole thing done in, like, one swift movement? I only ask...

Tommo and his Amazing Performing Tusks win again! In the distance a dog barked and a Thompson alpaca hummed a `Sound of Musiic` medley while quaffing a glass of Laurent Perrier.

Well, all that testosterone has quite worn me out. (And Syd's revelation on the Strauss Songs thread.....)
So I think it's beddybyes time. Happy Pumpkins all!
