This headline above letters in today's Guardian about Boris Johnson's standing for mayor of London made me smile:

Boris good enough?

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Afternoon all.  Grin  Busy making Indian banquet for family later on this afternoon but children playing happily in the garden in the sunshine - that hasn't happened much so far this year, the weather has been too awful for playing out.

Good afternoon. I've had nice play on Google Earth, after daring to download it with the encouragement of various r3ok people. Some places are much clearer than others, aren't they? Good fun.

It's cold here today in Yorkshire and it's just started to rain.

Gives me an excuse to go and play the piano for hours (once I've written a few letters)  Smiley

hh dream diary:
I was gardening.
Everything seemed ok if a little lacklustre (there were a few pots which had rotting apples in them) but it seemed ready for some serious work. It's a little bit like that famous post-analysis dream of Tippett's with a few differences, but I don't feel like I'm anything like in the same mental place that he was at the time.
