Just remember Ron's advice and don't overdo it. You don't want to end up...

Hmmm.  Looks interesting!  Undecided

This is the Warrior Pose in Astanga yoga (allegedly).  Smiley

According to Mandi who leads my group at Stoke Newington Yogahome, in Warrior pose the forward foot should be pointing forward.  It is not in your picture.

The stretch in Warrior, as I understand it, comes because the torso is facing forward while the legs are facing sideways.  I always find it a rather satisfactory position.

But you shouldn't do it on top of a Lakeland fell.  No flat space beneath the feet.  And where's the mat?

I also found myself thinking of a few poses I wouldn't like to have a go at on those rocks... Wink

I like this pose. It is good idea to try it before practice.

Perahps we should each donate a few pennies to enable byron to buy a new keyboard: it appears that his present one has several sticky keys, producing regular meaningless one letter repetitions.

At 9 a.m Big Ben (well, the clock) is showing 12. Is this the end of the world? There will be no chimes, if that's the word, for a month.

When I was seven I stood next to Big Ben (the bell) while it struck eleven. It was VERY LOUD.
