I always tick the boxes telling them not to do that.  Perhaps they just don't take any notice?

Legally they have to.  You can get them on the Data protection act, which prohibits misuse or forwarding of data to third parties without your consent.

I received an American Express card offer in the post today.  How do these people obtain our addresses?  I've never asked for one - ever.
I got one of those once, 3 or 4 years ago. I applied for one as invited, and they turned me down!

I've had a bit of trouble lately accessing TOP.  Has anyone else had problems?  I got on this morning and posted a message on the Breakfast thread, but trying to go back and view it is impossible at the moment.  It's been like that for a few days, on and off.....
