I think what I'm going to do now is give up any thought of my 5000th post being significant in any way and repeat one of my own favourite celebratory

HOÔØOôOoOÖOOOOOÓőOõÒOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONS.
I do hope it brings some pleasure. I may return and edit it some time but I do rather like it just as it is.

Just thought I would share an 'episode ' with you....

Whilst in the car this morning we put on R3 and there was a piece of early music playing. My husband  Grin said, 'That's a canzona by Gabrieli.. I think Giovanni'. I replied, 'You are the expert' To which he replied in all seriousness 'Oh no I am not, I have not done any research in Venetian chori spezzati'

To serious matters; is the honeymoon period over for Doctor Who ? Episode one with the Pillsbury Doughboys, episode two with the doctor attacking a volcano with a water pistol, relentless mugging from David Tennant. Most disappointing.

He's been away for the past 10 days. Sorry to have missed your recital, Eru. Sounds as though it went well!
