It looks like the California coast to me, but you haven't been there. Did she go there with someone else?
As it happens I have spent much time on the California coast, having spent numerous years of my life cohabiting with someone from those parts and indeed subsequently getting married in Encinitas. However it is true that I haven't been there since a few months before the person in the picture was born. And indeed it is not the California coast you see in the picture, although it is almost certainly a place known to at least one Member apart from myself. |

Almost there. It's Caswell Bay, which is three beaches to the west of Mumbles Head. |

Really? I should have recognised that, then, since I have relatives who used to live in that precise area, and I walked along the cliffs to Caswell many times. I don't think I ever went in the sea though.
