The Proms are over. There was a spider in the bath this morning. The holly berries are already red. It's definitely autumn.

That would explain why we've been getting more sun lately....

After I've been feeling so run down lately, I spent most of yesterday in bed. And I feel better for it.
I also listened to a fair amount of music by Walter Zimmermann but don't really have anything intelligent to say about it other than I like a lot of it.

He is German composer. I am listening to Bohemian composers, but Zimmermann sounds interesting to me.
It is too bad for me that you can not say anything about him. I know nothing about him, other than I heard his name.

I am glad you are feeling better.

I am also not well yet, have to eat often and can not eat fresh bread (which is a big minus for me).

H-h I think you need to go to your GP and get an M.O.T.  You've been below par for a while now.  Also the headaches.  You might have a low-lying virus that isn't bad enough to actually lay you out but is bubbling away there enough to make you feel slightly ill and tired all the time.

You need to get it sorted! Tomorrow! (Or else I shall want to know the reason why!)

Yours,

t-p, I don't think I've ever seen you say that a composer doesn't sound interesting to you...
Interesting composers don't always write interesting music.
I'll be listening a lot more to these CDs and I will write something eventually.

I am also not well yet, have to eat often and can not eat fresh bread (which is a big minus for me).

Why can't you eat fresh bread?

OK (eek)! But I am feeling a lot better today. I may be going to see the Tracy Emin exhibition and climbing a hill tomorrow as well (we've got some kind of bizarre academic holiday tomorrow), but I'm sure I can make an appointment.

I can only eat dried bread. After allergy my liver is not good. Nobody knows what it is because the doctor doesn't want me to have ultrasound test.
I am seriously considering going to Polish clinique. At least they will have tests done.
My friend is looking after me here. She is a doctor, but she needs tests.
Do I really find all compolsers interesting? May be I do. But they are interesting. Composers are very interesting people, I find.

I wouldn't mind so much, but they never ask first, and when you finally get in there, they've used all the shampoo Angry

If I dare to speak for t-p here, I think she means that in order to make any diagnosis of t-p's liver, her doctor friend would need to see t-p's tests, which t-p's doctor non-friend refuses to run. Yes? Huh

Turfers - are they at all fussy about brands? And what about rats?

Thank you hh. This is a correct interpretation.

My friend was GP in Russia for 25 years. Here her language was not good (she could not speak at all). Now her English is better, but they are trying to keep less people in profession and make it as difficult as possible for foreign doctors to pass exams. They know what 25 years of experience in the best clinic in St Petersburg is.

It is really sad. They need doctors here. And I can assure you that Russian doctors are much better (at least for me). They don't give you antibiotics at a drop of a hat. They make tests first to find out what they have.
In old Soviet Union medicine was not bad. They tried to prevent rather than treat deseases.
My friend graduated from the best Medical Institute in Moscow. She is very good doctor. However, she needs to see my tests.

Our doctor here makes test (approximate reading) himself. He doesn't even sends it to the lab.

It is appaling. Here is the worse medical system I saw in my travels around the world.

They don't give you antibiotics at a drop of a head.
I should hope they'd give you considerably more than antibiotics if your head dropped off. Wink

Thank you t-i-n,
I was holding all frustration in for so long. I am feeling better (I think). My friend gave me some herb medicine that a friend brought and some other medicine. I am trying to get better.
With rehearsals and the concert coming up and everything around me I was feeling bad for a long time, while trying to cover it.
I don't think people understand one another. Even friends sometimes turn against you for no reason. But it really doesn't matter.
I am glad to have you here.  Kiss
