Listen to your BBC and go to your doctors and march by american flag.
Or as Mike and the Mechanics put it:
Quote
Swear allegiance to the flag
Whichever flag they offer,
But never hint at what you really feel

Except it's just 'where no one has gone before' isn't it?
I'm afraid I stumbled on that little Horatian line. I think I translated most of it but my brain was obviously not level enough to assemble a meaning.

....'to boldly go where no-one has gone before'...

You missed out the'boldly! Roll Eyes Grin

Which is precisely why I suggested the insertion of audacter, bbm.... (Latin adjective audax bold [from which we get the word audacious] + adverbial ending = boldly). It's a slightly irregular formation: the alternative audaciter exists as well.

Hmmm ... I was just reading an old thread and was quite startled by several posts of my own which seemed either witty or intelligent, and wasn't sure I would have come up with any of them now. Does anyone else have this experience? Undecided

Been to see the doctor and had blood test done.
He was one of those doctors that just sits there and nods while you tell him what your symptoms are and what you would like checking.
He says that I'm probably worrying over nothing because I look very healthy (though he has seen me on a morning when I'm feeling a lot better).
I find that this sort of thing puts me completely on the defensive. I feel like saying that I've only come to the doctor because friends and family have been harassing me until I do! Hopefully this will put my mind at rest about anything weird going on and I've got an appointment next week for results. He's said that assuming that nothing shows up in the tests we can go on to talk about other things that it could be (stress, diet, exercise, depression, etc.).
I'm beginning to wilt a little bit now, but (I hope) that's due to lack of sleep rather than anything else (see GOR room).
