A, do you really have nothing better to do than indulge in tiresome t-p baiting?

Nope

In that case, you have my sympathy. But it's tiresome, nonetheless.

Don't want your sympathy martle. I just feel that all these sad men who rush to her aid are all pretty pathetic.

There are lots of things on this board that are tiresome martle, if I comment on them I get ridiculed and modded. If t-p does everyone says, 'Ah what a shame let's all cuddle her'

It's a stupid world

Did you enjoy your visit, A? You don't seem very happy.

I am very happy. I like going to see my daughter. It was great.
I come home and find rubbish on message boards.
That is why I say what I do.
I am happy.
It is a lovely day.

A, you are clearly very upset but I'm  not clear what you mean when you say that you have been Modded in the past. None of your posts have been removed  and you have not received any public or private warnings about your posts (to my knowledge) In which way do you feel you have been modded in the past? I'm really rather baffled by this.

Can we please try and take some of the heat out of this before matters degenerate any further. Things have been difficult on this Board recently for an assortment of reasons. Please let's not have another flare up of animosity. It only damages the on-line community here.

I have looked through my personal messages and can find some recently by posters saying I am paranoid. .... Not true.

I was also told I had to apologise on the board ... a long time ago... for teasing t-p. Not for teasing Anty, you Mort, Ron, Ollie, S'Wave, bbm ( who gets a great deal of teasing) tinners, kitty, Mary...... no... just for teasing t-p.

I can't find it... I have a life, but it was there.

I get pms about how evil I am to comment on the lovely lady.... and all the men rally round her like bees to the honey pot. I rest my case.

Ho hum.

Well anyway, one party down, one to go tomorrow!  My poor daughter-in-law entertained 13 toddlers this afternoon and catered for everyone.  We went later on when everyone had gone and I propped her up in a corner to recover.  She is exhausted!  The thing is, our "do" at the hotel tomorrow will probably have cost the same or even less and I have none of the work to do.  All I turn up with is party bags and the birthday cake. The food is provided by the hotel and so is the entertainer who is excellent.  He takes over for the full 2 1/2 hours, with traditional games and a disco.  He's absolutely hilarious as well.

I'm getting lazy in my old age but it's lovely to just sit, watch and take photos and then when it's over - just walk away from it all with no mess to clean up.

The teenager has just come back with the dog.  He was out with him for 45 minutes on the beach in the dark.  I never take him on the beach but he does.  He just stood on a high dune, in the rain and kept throwing sticks till the dog was worn out.

And when I say rain, I mean just that!  It hasn't let up all day.  Windy, cold and pouring down.  We've been so happy though that the weather doesn't matter at all.  Cheesy

Weather's been horrible here  Sad

13 toddlers! Poor woman! (Except that she chose to do it.) I remember being worn out by seven six-year-olds. The best bit of that party was when a very well-behaved and rather smug little girl grabbed a bowl that the crisps had been in, full of bits of crisp, and licked it out! Her mother didn't see this, and I didn't tell her, but it was a secret satisfaction to me. No child is perfect.

Just a thought Martle. Why pick on me and not Anty? Why stick up for t-p and not us?

I know, I have been told off. So what?

When in doubt, wash.

There's a party for a 7 year old going on next door - I think it must have been musical bumps just now as the loud music kept stopping and starting and there was excited shrieking and thumping as bodies fell. I don't mind at all as we don't usually hear much noise through the walls. It's Pass the Parcel now to Show me the Way to Amarillo...damn, that wretched song's going to stick in my head all day.

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

I've got all that to look forward to from 2.30 p.m.  Grin  I always join in the dancing at the end - embarrassing Grandma!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

The cake is lovely.  Just got to put the candles in place when we get to the hotel.  The only blip we've had for this birthday is that my present hasn't arrived in time.  He wanted a specific Nintendo game, which I ordered online but didn't realise that it's coming from abroad.  They sometimes are delayed through Customs and I think that's what has happened.  It will be Monday now.  Still he'll have lots more presents later today from his little friends.
