I really like my hair best when I've washed it with my man's Body Shop shower gel, I think it's called "Javari"..... it could just be that I feel happy because I've showered over at his place...? x Jan x

I don't wash my hair with man's shampoo. I have my principals. I think their shampoo is different. Although I can understand Janthefan. We have different shampoo. We used to wash our hair with the same shampoo before I got so picky. I think I would like his shampoo if we did not live together. But now I want my own shampoo.
Time change and we change, I suppose. Good to hear from you Janthefan.

Well if we're talking shower gear here's a recent discovery: Weleda Sea Buckthorn Body Wash, in case it's too unclear to read. Gosh it's good.

May be it is me. I think that men wash their hair with two in one (shampoo and conditioner). I think those are for men. Women use more elaborate shampools. My husband uses Head and shoulder or even chiper version from Aldi. He says it is good. Women shampoo is for coloured hair, or for damaged hair (by heating and coloring probably) or something like that. For example there are shampoo for red hair and for blond hair. These are for women definately. I can not imagine men would wash his hair with those (unless there is nothing else in the house). They cost a fortune. Conditioner also costs a fortune. I bought for one for red hair once. It did not produce any visible effect on my hair. However, if I have money I will buy it again. Don't ask me why. And this is in my age (I don't dare to even think about it).
There is a shampoo for men when they go gray, but it doesnot work. May be some people here tried. I think Ollie has schuma, may be this is for gray hair.
I can talk about shampoo endlessly. In my early days there were egg shampoo. Now they are out of favour and herb shampoo are in.

Gee youre good at this Ollieeee.
Little if any gender distinction at Lush ~ or so it seemed.
Those shampoo bars really do lather up nicely then ? The little plaques spoke more of scalp than hair in that section.

I've used them with various lengths of hair from a couple of millimetres to a couple of inches and found them very fine for scalp and hair alike. Indeed others with rather longer hair who have taken advantage of my bathing facilities over the last few years since I discovered them have also been favourably impressed. Next in Ollie's Beauty Tips: this is another corker. And what the heck, I may as well fess up to the occasional use of this too.

Maybe some straight men use it though, I wouldn't know ...

Maybe some straight men use it though, I wouldn't know ... It's been a while since I used a shampoo that actually called itself a 2-in-1. (Nivea's not too bad.) But the Lush bars indeed require no separate conditioner. Are you sure 2-in-1s are the preserve of the straight man? I can predit a firm upsurge in sales on that basis. Er, I mean 2-in-1 shampoo, in case that isn't clear.

I think two in one are preserve of cheap men (who like to spend their money on other things perhaps). I do wash my hair with two in one on ocasion (not often). If I am going to buy more music and CD I will have to do it more often. Perhaps I will have to colour my own hair too. That is painful because I don't see the back of my head. I will have to take lessons from friends who colour their hair. There shold be a special technique for that. May be it is in a wrist or finger technique.
