I believe its Witch-it-a, as for Pat Metheny's album '...As Wichita falls, so falls Wichita'.

Thanks Offy

Yes thrilling win for Adagio and my biggest investment for several months.

Really lovely afternoon on the Rowley Mile.  Even managed to get the Exacta in the last race !

Hi Alison
Glad you had winning day - whats your favourite course to visit - my favourite for flat is Sandown and for the jumps like Towcester and Plumpton (low grade racing but nice atmosphere) - some interesting trials tomorrow - got feeling Dutch Art might not stay because so speedy - P-C-Hyam another good trainer but tricky......... My favourites are Newmarket and Newbury (so a good week this week) and Yarmouth as a smaller course.

I dont really follow the jumps but know what you  mean about the friendly smaller tracks which can have a real buzz.

Three out of five for Sir Michael yesterday and a very nice maiden winner at Newbury on Friday.  Three runners at Windsor tomorrow night.  Thats another good smaller course.

Dutch Art not that surprising I suppose - couldnt have been on him at odds on.

Hi Ally
Re Dutch Art - i could not believe it when PCH said before the race that horse NOT fit - bluff or double bluff....
Agree Newbury lovely track and always interesting cards there - Sir Michael is indeed a genius but hope stable not peaked 2 weeks too soon ?? Whenever they interview him he never gives anything away but then again why should he...hope we get some rain soon the ground is getting tooooo hard  Grin

The 2000 guineas is looking quite interesting now and I can hardly wait.

I havent come across that many people who are keen on both classical music and horse racing.

Difficult to compare the thrill of screaming home a Stoutey hotpot with a LSO symphony concert at the Barbican.  Luckily we can do both !

Marty

I think you should have a bet on Adagio in two weeks time.

It will be on TV and you can join in the fun.

I have got quite a suntan myself just now- wish I didnt burn so easily.

You know what, Ali? For the first time in my life, I may just do so, seeing as how it's you. Where and when?  Smiley

To Marty

Glad our thread keeping you amused - trouble is you have to understand interest in horse racing can be obsessional as can interest in music - i see Ali is getting you into bad habits - you better watch out you might log onto betfair next  Grin

To Ali
Think Adagio has great chance but not crazy about the price - in the 1000 still quite like Indian Ink mainly because so consistent - think yr sel Kaseema definetly worth a chance - its very hard to analyse this sort of horse as his potential is still untapped  and is typical Stoute guess horse

Maybe strange thing to say but think connection between racing and music is more relevant than apparent - always have music (non turbulent) in background when studying form and helps my focus
hope you getting nice tan........ Cool

Well if Mahler turns out to be as good as Stravinsky and Mozart (both trained by O'Brien) could be interesting although think they were both sprinters  Roll Eyes
