R-T

I have to say that so many and so angrily reactionary are the voices appearing in another place that I too have been suspecting all day that there is a consistent and deliberate attempt to swamp the reason in totally unrepresentative extremism so thjat the Mods or whoever can claim that the mb's are a waste of time if you want reaonsed feedback and argument.

I really do fear that this is a conscious disinformation campaign to justify shutting the whole shooting match down. Even RC has been drawn into it, adn it was to defend him that I posted what then became modded twice. Very suspicious.

he managed to join the boards and have his first messages visible within 18 minutes - a new record, I think?

It is just possible they earned their wings on other boards, then wiped their visible posting history, like Anna does. Trolls without a doubt, but I would guess wandering trolls who just smelled out the potential for winding us up. There is no need for it to be Grew. Sadly there are plenty of the troll mentality around.

Just paid a visit "over the road".  There seems still to be a deal of Modding and a general air of unpleasantness about.  The number of new members with "high" numbers is unusual.

Where do I complain about beeing moded? And I don't even know what I did. I don't understand which post was not on topic.
They just want the boards to be quite place.
It is not going to go back to the way it was.

Cheers darling,

It's the clean-up process that refers to you, Anna, not the "Trolls without a doubt". The trolls simply seem to be hiding their tracks, (well some of them). I've clered some of my visible posting history too, but not as thouroughly as you. Who'd want to stalk me? I'm not a ravishing Welsh beauty.

t-p,

I can`t believe that you got modded? Where did you post and about what? I`ll go and have a look. Have you received an e mail yet telling you that your posting is being considered by the Moderators? They normally send you a mail.

Don`t worry t-p, you don`t have to much to get modded these days.

Ho!  I've just left "the other place" where things have hotted up to quite an extent this morning.  Amongst other things, threads that have been open there for a week are having old messages zapped, even if referring to Choral Evensong.  Madness rules in the BBC.  What it amounts to is a revolt against official childishness and I don't think I can see the Boards lasting.

Under the heading "Racial Discrimination ....  "Inside out" has posted.  "Am I to understand that discussion on any BBC Radio Three message board about the black musicians which feature heavily in Andy Kerhsaw's programmes is now banned ?"

I think that points to the seriousness of the situation.
Cheers

Joined up management...was just listening to some of Andy Kershaw on "listen again" ( yes I know, apologies for my eclectic tastes ) and noticed an invitation from the listen again page to "join in the message board discussions". Clicking on this out of curiousity led me to "deleted".

Rob Cowan wrote that Kats-Chemin is comming. I googled, but can not find who is this person. I suppose I will have to wait with patience.

I can't beleive trained-pianist got modded!  Cry

In all my years on the Internet, t-p is one of the most polite, friendly, humble people I have encountered.

I had thought the stupid modding over the last couple of weeks was just silly and slightly amusing.

Now it's made me really angry  Angry
