Yes, it will. That's been known to be the launch conference date for a few weeks now.

It had passed me by, too, so thanks for that, David.

I have however heard a few more rumours, third- or fourth-hand from a very reliable source.  I can't repeat them, but I will divulge that it appears a performance is in the pipeline of the one piece of Messiaen I really really wanted.

This one, Ruth?

(It's actually the 27th, not the 17th, sorry.)

Nope.  And that's the last I'm saying about it - as people are liable to stop telling me things if I relay them in writing on public forums Wink

I have discovered a way of accessign this year's full listings, I'm a bit dubious about posting it in an open forum, just in case someone at the beeb wakes up and takes it down, but pm me if you want the link...

Well, the season launch is tonight so we'll all have our brochures by tomorrow morning anyway.

Well, I see that there's to be a Doctor Who Prom - including the theme, Jupiter from The Planets, the Ride of the Valkyries, and the UK premiere of M-A Turnage's The Torino Scale (presumably just to counter charges of 'dumbing down'). Bet that one's televised!
