Since now more than a week has passed since we asked for the removal of our account, is it not possible for one or other of the three moderators to get on the job and satisfy without further delay the outstanding request? We see that it has been days ago done in the case of another high-profile Member so why not in our case?

We have logged on again only in order to make this request, and shall now at once click on the little "remove me" box for the third time.

It's a sad day indeed
to find we have to read
the name of Sydney Grew
in black, and not in blue

Syd, people obviously don't want to let you go. The place just wouldn't be the same somehow. Please speak to us, Mr Grew.

The member seems to have made his wishes very clear. Is there some reason why his wishes are not being complied with?

Well, just to say I miss him/her like a hole in the head. Since leaving these boards, Muchboggery has been fairly busy over at TOP, and the M & S boards. I am far more concerned at the reasons for t-p not posting here in the past couple of days. The campaign of spite against her is quite without excuse. Would that one of her detractors had half the command of Welsh, the language of her supposed homeland, that t-p has of English. Damn it, said complaining harpy can't even spell the name of the Welsh capital correctly in that language.

An abject apology to t-p is due from a number of 'members' here, and that includes the moderation team, as a body, regardless of which member actually wrote to t-p on their behalf, from what I have seen.

Sorry t-p, I know you did not want me to have a go on this matter, but a call from a member of the moderation team for SG to get back in touch, in the current circumstances regarding t-p, is not to be left unchallenged.

[The blue typeface indicates modification. I am advised that Mort was not directly responsible for writing to t-p.]

My vote is for Sydney to stay!  Smiley

Perhaps he will change his mind? Please come back Mr. Grew, you are missed.

FWIW, I couldn't disagree more.

I hadn't spotted this, Bryn, and can't locate anything there on a quick scan (although I don't read the boards there that much now).

That, regrettably, comes as no surprise, Milly. You might take your own beam in hand before messing around with t-p's mote, however, when it comes to sick-parade for instance.

You're a nasty piece of work yourself sometimes,  Bryn. You can be as abusive to people as anyone else, as your last post regarding your supposed "Welsh harpy" proves.

For the record, I haven't mentioned "sick parade".  That was other people.  I have many other axes to grind with t-p that aren't anything to do with you and I don't have to explain them to you.  You can be as abusive to people as anyone else, as your last post regarding your supposed "Welsh harpy" proves.

Perhaps if you had a family yourself you would have a bit more understanding about my particular waffling.  No-one has yet objected to my posts, either by pm or on the board.

Un, try here.

I have not checked other possible multiple identities.
