Hang in there, Ants! I'll send the huskies over with extra soup supplies as soon as it's cooked.

Make sure that the heaters are out of direct line of site, too, Anty: many folk find that even in peripheral vision the elements affect their eyes....

Didn't know that Ron - I'm sideways on to it - problem is if I move it out of peripheral vision then I don't get the heat I think a trip to Boots and a hotwater bottle is called for!!

It's bitterly cold here. The fog is starting to burn off so hopefully the temperature will rise as the day goes on. The temp was just about on freezing when I first went out this morning. I haven't braved the dog walk yet. It's alright for him, he's got a fur coat on! Brrrrrrrrrr

MJ, burn off - weatherman-speak. Of course fog does not burn, it just rises higher in the atmosphere when it warms

Yes I know fog doesn't burn - it's just what is always said around here, without really thinking about it. Just got back and it wasn't very cold at all, although I was well wrapped up. Felt a bit dizzy while I was out and was starting to panic in case I passed out whilst off the beaten track, so to speak. Anyway, managed to get home although feeling light-headed - couldn't understand why till I realised that it was 1.45 p.m. and I've had nothing to eat yet! Twit!!! Did the child's breakfast and got him off to football but didn't bother myself and the day has just moved on..... Time for a butty!

A very quick good morning from the US. Tour tiring but mostly quite fun. Hope everyone's well, and that I'll have a chance to trawl through pages of new posts some time soon.

G'morning everyone. Anyone know what's happened to George? I emailed him at home the other day to check if all is well but no reply yet. Perhaps he's away?

We haven't seen Tinners for a while either. People have the right to disappear into cyberspace, though, so I suppose we shouldn't put pressure on them.

Hmm. Woke up with a headache this morning, which I think has more to do with sleeping too much ( ) than anything else. Very glad to be in Ed and not in Dur! Just for this week of course.

Morning all It's all a bit grey up here today from the looks of it. Not sure that I'm due a particularly exciting day - meetings and auditions largely but who knows? Sometimes we have some extraordinary young musicians playing for us that really make the whole thing worthwhile.
