We'll have to start minding our P & Qs again now our headmistress is back. Mr Dough and Mr Sudden just don't know how to keep classroom discipline.

'Cooee Martle', spluttered Mort, emerging from the smoking wreckage of communication equipment, clutching a battered and empty wallet. 'So, what's for supper?' Ah the born-again Morticia has entered the building. Welcome home. Re. Martle, as I approached the Heatherwood roundabout at Ascot yesterday evening I noticed a green estate wagon coming up from the right, its registration number was M4RTL.

Ho Jonathan! Hope your first day in the new job went well?
And welcome back of course to Morticia - are you pleased with your shiny new machine and did the Russians put all your data back?

Ho Anna, Yes, it really wasn't too bad at all! Lots of SOPs to read though (see the grumpy room!) Really tired now though - I don't do mornings and had to get up at 6.30...

Ah yes, Bryn. I'd got a bit lost after the guided tour of Waitrose in Bracknell.

A hearty seconding, and hope springs, where dongles are benighted still, from the restored megabytes surrounding the regal progress.

Thanks y'all for you welcome back messages. Gosh, it's nice to hear/see familiar faces/voices. The Russians have not yet encountered my computer. Tomorrow they will arrive bearing precious silver discs that will, hopefully, restore my address book and the Ron Dough Photographic Archive among other things. May Stanislav aka Stan (that sounds all wrong somehow) be gentle with me ...
