Good old Starbucks! As you would expect, much as they care about the health of their customers, they are (in the end) much more bothered about their wretched coffee! Remember that when you next pay "over the odds" to drink your coffee 'in house'! Baz

Baz, You really must avoid Star*ucks. They obviously have a detrimental effect on your blood pressure and their coffee is abysmal. Yuck. Bleegh! And other such erudite comments.

I'm reminded of when in the town where I lived, council workmen marked out a bay on the road for BUSES. Someone then pointed out that it should be BUSSES, so it was changed and getting paint off the road is not a two-minute job. Finally, they decided it should be BUSES after all.

Brilliant - Richard and Tony !!!!!! Thanks, but let's not forget Tom Phillips, a really rather fascinating artist - have a hunt around on his site if you don't know his work.

Been away from the MB for, oh, all of 32 hours, and missed you all! So thought I'd weigh in with something meaningful and profound: Observed on a railway station platform, just yesterday: Toilets Closed
Sorry for InconveniencesNow, is that just witty, or the product of an insufficient understanding of English?

To be fair: you stand a better chance of getting fairtrade coffee at Starb*cks than at your local caff. That obviously doesn't make it taste any less industrial but there is at least something to be said in their favour.
