Ollie and Baz,

It really would be better if you just ignored him. He feeds on the sort of responses you're giving him.

I do not agree - I require nothing less than an apology.

Baz

I understand that you're probably seeing red at the moment Baz, but that's just what he wants to happen. Go and have a drink and calm down. Why do you care what he thinks?

I don't care what he thinks! But the situation is very simple to me, as follows: a) he retracts his assertion and publicly apologises;  b) he is (failing that) required to apologise publicly by the Moderators; c) failing that he is removed from the MB; or d) failing all the previous possibilities it must be I who resigns membership of this MB.

That's about it I think.

Evening all.

Baz, I think you'll find there's a few people before you in the queue waiting for apologies.

Baz, Mr. Pace does this all the time.  Makes waves.  It gives him a buzz.

Why let a weirdo with issues upset you?  Huh

Just don't rise to it!

There are a few issues here for clarification of course. Let's leave them until morning perhaps: what with it being time for bed we're going to lock this thread now.

Ian, a clarification on where you stand with your previous posts would be much appreciated at this point. Please PM the moderators when you're ready to post it.

The thread is (basically) open again... the moderators aren't going to be around all day though.

We're not keen on flareups while we're not around so if none of us is here you'll find the thread temporarily locked. Do please be patient.

Thread now open for business everyone. Good morning.

Good morning Mort. This is certainly a peaceful place to come, and I take it that there has been no crunch from the other half yet?

Morning Baz. No, the other half has not crunched yet, but the invitation for that person to contact the Mods still stands ...

While in the meantime, for fear that ongoing lack of clarification may result in further contentious postings from it, this thread has to be continually babysat, frequently locked and endlessly wasteful of the time of three mods. Perhaps, in the manner of an unseen examination paper, some time-constraint might be possible?

Reminds me of 'Waiting for Godot' probably with the same ending.

OLLIE: You say we have to come back tomorrow?
MORT: Yes.
OLLIE: Then we can bring a good bit of rope.
MORT: Yes.

Silence.

Yes Baz. A time limit has been addressed and agreed by the Mods. We'd rather see this thread up and running normally for the convenience of everyone here. Including us Wink
